Optichron’s single-board DPD Development Platform provides a complete transmit chain solution for wireless infrastructure design. The platform was designed with the most critical needs of the designer in mind – versatility, performance and ease of use.
Designers of wireless base stations need practical tools that shorten the development time and deployment of next-generation wireless systems. This complete, flexible development tool provides the designers with a single foundation for evaluating and developing highly-efficient, multiple product designs that support multiple protocols and frequency bands. Currently versions supports protocols including GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, WiBro, WiMAX and LTE and frequency bands from 800 MHz to 3.5 GHz.
In addition to the versatility of the platform, the development board supports any PA technology or architecture. The key components of the development board – Optichron’s OP4400 DPD and OP5000 CFR devices – deliver the industry’s best performing DPD and CFR combination, providing 5th order compensation when processing 30 MHz of signal bandwidth.
Another benefit of the DPD Development Platform is ease of use. The platform is managed through a comprehensive yet simple graphic user interface (GUI) that allows the flexible configuration of design features and optional connections and requires no software development or maintenance. This out-of-the-box solution includes single-board hardware, GUI, documentation including schematics and Gerber files and requires minimal instrumentation for use.
